It brings us great pleasure to welcome everyone to our communities. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to ensure residents find joy, comfort, and wellness in their homes. If you have had an opportunity to walk through our front doors, I expect you have met our friendly concierge team, or possibly our outstanding valet or driver. We hope you have been as impressed with the welcome you received as we are each time we walk into our communities.

Each community has been designed with abundant amenity space for residents to safely enjoy. From the outdoor terraces, to the bistros and lounges, to the elegance of the dining rooms, residents are enjoying all the amenities of their home. Our programming and activities continue to expand, with our team working to incorporate a diverse array of interests. Residents are our greatest assets and have shared many wonderful life stories and preferences with us.

The dining programs continue to receive accolades (and a few small suggested tweaks!) from the residents. Our executive chefs, and their teams keep dreaming up delicious meals for the residents. Our dining program now offers varied seating times, enabling residents to enjoy dining while observing safe social distancing protocols adhered to by all fine restaurants. We also continue to cater meals for residents when they prefer to dine in their apartments.

Our team remains committed to answering any questions you may have on how our procedures have evolved to continue and keep all residents, staff and guests safe. Our Executive Directors bring many years of experience, and we are fortunate to have them as our leaders. They have assembled excellent teams at each of our communities. From our servers, to our dishwashers, to our housekeeping staff, to the marketing department members you know, our teams are the “village” it takes to make each of our communities the finest in the area.

The corporate affiliate, Retirement Center Management (RCM), has managed senior living communities since its inception in 1996 in Houston. Over those years, the company has grown to 35 communities across Texas and the Central Southern US. Our scale has ensured we implement best practices from cleaning, to dining, to the activities we offer. We have an excellent resource network that gives us great flexibility in responding to the needs of our residents.

You may notice a few new procedures, combined with our longstanding best practices, as we welcome new residents and ensure all residents, staff and guests feel safe and welcome. Our staff is continuously trained to provide the upmost service to keep all areas fresh and clean with medical grade sanitation products to ensure your comfort. Residents and staff at our communities are thriving and continue to Live Life Well®. Thanks to proactive measures launched in January, RCM communities have successfully maintained our signature quality of life while observing desired wellness protocols.

Over our three decades in operation, we have built a great network of healthcare providers and advisors to ensure we keep providing high quality care whenever it is needed. Our Chief Wellness Director, Dr. Michael Buxbaum, a Board-Certified Advanced Primary Care Physician in the Memorial Hermann network, leads a practice at the Texas Medical Center and serves on the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Buxbaum works closely with RCM’s Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations, Gwen Wilburn, to continuously monitor industry and medical best practices to promote wellness for all residents and staff within our communities.

Multiple RCM communities have been nominated for “Best of the Best” awards which highlight our track record for excellence in operations which have been sustained through hurricanes, hot summers, and now Covid-19.
