“ Carriage Inn – Bryan is an amazing community. The residents get to know each other and support each other, they check on each other, and mom was really involved in planning the outings and activities that went on. They have people who come in to do exercise class and play music, they have Girl Scouts come in and do crafts, and they have a professional painter who comes in and teaches the residents how to paint and how to draw. RCM Joins Other Houston Business to Come Together for Alzheimer’s

Houston businesses are fighting back. This year, local companies are partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association to lead the way to the first survivor of Alzheimer’s.  Deloitte, EY, Texas Capital Bank and Retirement Center Management are  part of the 2018 Corporate Leadership Council for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Together, they are mobilizing their employees, clients, families and friends in the fight against Alzheimer’s by raising funds and awareness through Houston’s Walk on November 3rd. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s was a successful day.  Thank you to our employees and residents who made this day very successful.   More than 5.7 million people in the United States are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease, and an American develops the disease every 65 seconds. The ripple effects of the the disease are even more widespread, touching the family and friends of those afflicted. The Society for Human Resource Management says that nearly 60 percent of individuals caring for an aging loved one are also holding down a full-time job.
